The RESIDENT UTILITY SURVEY is ready for ALL residences to complete. The survey is to be completed by everyone because the residences are in the watershed district and what happens away from Hamilton Reservoir and Lake Siog "Holland Pond" can still migrate to these waterbodies. Please complete online through the Town website or pick up a copy, complete and return to Town Hall. THANK YOU!!!
Application for Citizen hydro-raking is now closed. The Town needed to limit the number of residents hydro-raking in a season per the OOC (Order of Conditions). Please be patient as we continue to develop this process and learn what works and what does not to make Hamilton Reservoir the best it can be. Thank you to citizen volunteer Annette Goldberg and the FHRA for coordinating this effort!!
If you see little clams, about the size of a fingernail, in Hamilton Reservoir these are INVASIVE Asian clams! Do not throw them into the water, please remove them. They are destroying the mussel population.
FANWORT will be moderate to dense this summer in large areas on the North Basin, please avoid boating and fishing in areas where the fanwort is visible to prevent further spreading. **Boating and swimming can be hazardous in fanwort infested areas as it can tangle props and oars, PLEASE avoid and use CAUTION.
What remains in the water will regrow and spread this summer!
