Cable Commission

The Cable Commission is back! We are working on getting our Select Board and other town meetings broadcast on Channel 15. We are in the process of evaluating our equipment and our cable provider’s broadcasting technology. Local information, events, announcements and important dates will be delivered when there are no live or recorded meetings to broadcast. We will have more updates here soon.

We are looking for additional volunteers to help film, produce, record, digitize, and broadcast our Cable Commission programming. We would love to find someone with video production experience, but we are willing to accept applications from any and all parties interested in helping out. For the right candidate there is the possibility of hourly compensation. The role will require approximately a 4-6 hour weekly commitment. Cox has announced price increases that go into effect January 8, 2026.

Cox is increasing the rates of video and internet services to reflect their increased costs of doing business. You should have already been notified by Cox Communications, which will appear as a message on your bill. Price changes are as noted below

  • Basic Preferred, Cox TV Preferred, and Contour Preferred will all change from $130.00 to $145.00.
